And NO, i do have an appreciation for the beauty in life and yada yada national parks, I just have had a crapload of bad vacations. Of course you're thinking, well just have a good one, geesh and stop complaining on your xanga like some immature 13-year-old. but you've never had food poisoning at your cousin's graduation. or locked your car keys in the trunk in the middle of the grand canyon. or sat there wishing you had a friend for nine hours every day while your mother's taking picutres of every waterfall in the state.

I AM BLIND

or I randomly contracted dyslexia today.

Either way I still woke up this morning at noon ( and I went to bed at 9:00 pm las night XD)  having to reshuffle and blink my eyes a couple of times before I was fully able to see. weird.

anyways, I basically spent my weekend in band class. (funner than it sounds, especially since Mr. Pearson was only occasionally watching us in the audience, not talking or trying to get our attention). So I'm in this really nice school in Moraga that's like 1/2 mile away from this huge reseraunt/shopping district trying to sightread some of the hardest music I've ever seen (we only had three days to learn what would normally take a couple months) perfectly. Supprisely though, it wasn't half bad. I could complain about all the nosiy flutes, stupid trumpet players that sit behind you and play the loudest they can in your ears, San Ramon band geeks that somehow have to prove that Monte Vista sucks becuase they have more people, trying to avoid/reconnect with old Stone Valley people(Ricky, Thomas, Grant, etc.) or meet new people. And yes, even though the band was half azn >.< we managed to have a lot of fun doing stupid things like playing soccer with water bottles on Campolindo's super nice field. And some stupid people like Ricky and Cassie and Erik and Peter other people that you wouldn't know so it would waste our time even mentioning them kept stealing my glasses and wearing them. and THEY ALL SAID that I'm blind cuz my glasses are at a really high perscriptionT_T Overall, it was cool cuz our director was a really funny old guy and seeing so many brililiant musicians in one place was mreo than a whole bunch of band geeks, it was band geeks who actually wanted to be there and make wonderful music(except Ricky)...sometimes I hate the fact that I'm the only one who can't draw in our group or save the animals or whatever but this kinda made me feel better about everything... XDD okay.... ha I should have titled this "I AM Nerdy"..but let's move on to what I was gonna say in the first place(Not stupid honor band)..

okay. so a couple of minutes ago(hours maybe?) I'm doing my AP Euro(ew) and I come upon this sentence

but I'm dyslexic so I thought it said:

Anywayz I was scrolling yahoo answers b/c I like fixing other peoples problems and not my own[ or I guess you could say I was just *distracted* from AP Euro homework] and this famous musician guy that I've never heard of[HA-is that an oxymoron?] asked HOW DO WE END POVERTY? Well, the answer is simple-

WE do more shopping.

Ha.

Poverty is a plague. Nutrition is not just a poverty issue, we have several tousands children both obese or malnourished. The reason they don't have food or good health care in their family, housing, or a good education is not really an external issue. We could figure out how to supply every member of the U.S. a good home, health, food, and an education. But to reform poverty we have to look inside at the internal issues, the highest issue is entrusting children and their families in a higher staus of living- to fix all their needs for survival. That not only includes food and shelter, but the mental comfort of love and some form of stability. Though as a government, we can't ensure this for all families but if we strive to mend the bonds that hold us all together, then we can take them to a better place. Education has a high value for the future, and by protecting our future we can also influence the present. To end poverty we need to confront what brings it there, give help to those who are in it now, and educate the masses for the future. ^_^ Source(s): Peace + Love = Prosperity 4 all. WEll, hunky-dory I think that needs a little fixing up. But that guy has over 2000 answers from people he doesn't know so surely somebody out there is educated enough or so stupid that they can come up with the simpliest answer that happens to be correct. Cuz life is funny like that. *barf* I think I ate to much turky cause all of this happy feelings stuff is making me happy and sick......O_O
